Harbor Tycoon

★★★★☆ 4.4 Editor rating

Harbor Tycoon hands you a tiny dock and asks you to turn it into a thriving port. You schedule ships, hire crews, expand warehouses and juggle the slow math of supply and demand. It's a thinker's game — the satisfaction comes from spotting a bottleneck and fixing it three steps before it becomes a crisis.

There's no clock forcing you to rush. You can pause, plan, and let a shift play out. We liked how the difficulty creeps up naturally: early layouts are forgiving, but later maps punish lazy planning. Nothing about it requires a connection, which makes it a great commute game.

It won't win awards for flash, but the loop is genuinely addictive. We kept saying one more route and lost an evening to it more than once.
